Farm Tour

Duration: Half Day
Includes: Guide, tasting and tries of all the products.
Difficulty Level: Easy
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, hiking or tennis shoes, camera.

Our tour takes about two hours, on a walk through the farm boundaries with incredible views. We start at the first of 10 stations called Rural Setting. This station is the perfect welcome for all the information offered. We continue the tour to the Viewpoint of the Colossus, a wonderful vantage point of Poas Volcano. Without doubt, this is the ideal place to take pictures of the volcano and explain relevant data and special notes about it is activity. Continuing with the hike, we will have a small break at The Lake of the Grandfather, a small lake surrounded by forest.

The most awaited station The Strawberries Tour. People are amazed walking among strawberry fields, collecting and eating, while our local guide explains every detail of this well-known fruit (a delicious experience). After eating strawberries, what better way to continue our journey than herding cows from their barns to The Millking Stalls. Each person will be able to touch and milk the cows as well as taking pictures. Our cows are definitely the stars of the activity. After milking, we will have the cheese tour in our Factory of Artisan Cheese, an opportunity see the entire process and learn more about the culture of cheese.
