Terms & Conditions

  1. Travel documents: The passport must have a minimum validity of 6 months at the time of arrival in Central America. This may vary depending on the destination and nationality of the passport holder
  2. Insurance: We recommend that our clients purchase travel insurance to cover possible unforeseen problems before/during a trip. This insurance protects your deposits both by land and air in case you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due to serious unforeseen circumstances (illness, injury, death of a family member, weather causing cessation of services, etc.)
  3. Departure day: Please note that on this day you must check-in with your airline provider at least 2-3 hours for international flights and 1 hour for local flights. You should also consider transfer times from one destination to another before the flight departure time.
  4. Local Flight Policies Sansa The maximum luggage weight is 40 pounds per person, in addition each passenger can carry a piece of hand luggage as long as it does not exceed 10 pounds. An excess baggage fee of $1.00 USD per additional pound will be applied. * All additional baggage will be subject to the availability of weight and space on the domestic flight.
  5. Reservations, Payments & Cancellations: To initiate any reservation process, we must receive a partial or total prepayment of services. • In certain cases, depending on the hotel, service or activity, a 100% payment is required at the time of booking. • Please note that special deposit and cancellation policies may apply. • Your account executive will provide details in the case of special terms and conditions.

Payments Standard booking period (May to June & September to November): • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking • The balance must be completed 30 days prior to arrival

High season booking periods (December to April/July to August): The high season in Costa Rica is marked by a large number of bookings. In order to guarantee your reservation, we require the following: • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking • The balance must be completed 60 days prior to arrival date

Peak Seasons (Christmas Week – End of Year / Easter) The peak season in Costa Rica is marked by a large number of bookings. In order to guarantee your reservation, we require the following: • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking • The balance must be completed 90 days prior to arrival date

Payment Methods: All payments must be made in US dollars in the name of Memorable Travel Group. We have a secure payment method in which at the time of requesting the respective payment we would be sending you the details and a payment link. For security reasons, it is the customer (passenger) who must carry out the Payment process. Once the customer has entered the Link, they must fill in the requested information in which they have the option to Pay using their Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express) or through their personal PayPal account.

We also accept payment through a direct deposit into our bank in the United States, for more information on this alternative contact your Account Executive. All payments must be received before the payment deadline.

Cancellations: • All cancellations must be in writing. • For the Standard Period, any cancellation within 30 days of the travel date will be penalized 100%. • For the High Season Period, any cancellation within 60 days of the travel date will be penalized 100%. • For the Peak Season Period, any cancellation within 90 days of the travel date will be penalized 100%. • A charge of $195 per person will be made for any cancellation that occurs outside of the 30, 60 or 90 days prior to the travel cancellation deadline. • There may be additional charges depending on the conditions of the suppliers.

Refunds: Any claim for refund must be made in writing within 30 days of the scheduled return. All vouchers must accompany the claim. No refunds will be made for services that were scheduled and not used by customer decision. No refunds will be made for lost transportation or tours due to airline arrival delays. Memorable Travel will not refund any money for changes in travel arrangements made by the traveler after the departure date. Any service issue affecting the quality of the guest’s stay should be addressed directly to hotel management at the time the issue arises, as no refunds can be given for such inconveniences after travel.

Privacy: Memorable Travel Group will not disclose any personal information to third parties. All information we receive from you will only be used to confirm your vacation package or itinerary and sometimes to inform you about our services.

Legal limitations: Memorable Travel Group (its owners, associates, agents and employees) will not assume any liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person or property in connection with any service provided or resulting directly from the following: weather, road conditions, damaged transports or cars, strikes, wars, acts of violence, acts of God, terrorism, thefts, civil unrest, government restrictions or regulations, delays and expenses associated with quarantines, failures of any kind in arrival or departure or discrepancies or changes in transit, vehicle rental, tours, activities or any hotel service over which the agency has no control.

Memorable Travel Group is acting as an agent for third parties-all travel documents issued by Memorable Travel Group, including all tickets, vouchers and coupons issued and all transportation arrangements, hotels, vehicle rentals, activities and tours are subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier. By accepting payment to Memorable Travel Group for all services, the participant(s) agrees to accept and be subject to the terms and conditions described above.
